By default, Android (and especially some OEMs like Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, Samsung) will put apps to sleep if they run too long in the background.<br>Here\u2019s how you (or your app\u2019s users) can change the settings so the app keeps running in the background:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Disable <strong>Battery Optimization <\/strong>for <strong><em>&#8220;Dombetting Mobile&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Open <strong>Settings <\/strong>\u2192 <strong>Apps &#038; notifications<\/strong> (or just <strong>Apps<\/strong> on some devices).<\/li><li><strong>Apps Management<\/strong><\/li><li>Find <strong><em>&#8220;Dombetting Mobile&#8221;<\/em><\/strong> in the list.<\/li><li>Tap <strong>Battery <\/strong>\u2192 <strong>Battery optimization.<\/strong><\/li><li>Switch from <strong>Optimized \u2192 Don\u2019t optimize <\/strong>(or <strong>Allow background activity<\/strong>).<br>In some android version <strong>\u2192<\/strong> Enable <strong>Allow background activity<\/strong> (sometimes worded as <em>Run in background<\/em>).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>2.  Allow <strong><strong>permissions<\/strong><\/strong><br>Still in <strong>&#8220;Dombetting mobile&#8221;<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>App info \u2192 App permissions<\/strong>, make sure <strong>Notifications<\/strong> permission is <strong>allowed<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>App info \u2192 Pause app activity if unused<\/strong>, make sure this option is <strong>turned OFF<\/strong> (so Android won\u2019t automatically hibernate your app after some time).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Exclude from \u201c<strong>Sleeping Apps<\/strong>\u201d \/ \u201c<strong>Adaptive Battery<\/strong>\u201d<br>On Samsung \/ Xiaomi \/ Huawei and others:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Go to <strong>Settings<\/strong> \u2192 <strong>Battery<\/strong> or <strong>Device care<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Look for <strong>App power management<\/strong> \/ <strong>Sleeping apps<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Remove your app from the \u201csleeping\u201d or \u201crestricted\u201d list.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Check for third-party battery saving apps<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Ensure your app is <strong>not restricted by other battery-saving apps<\/strong> such as <strong>Greenify, Battery Doctor, or similar tools<\/strong>.<\/li><li>If such apps are installed, whitelist <strong><em>&#8220;Dombetting Mobile&#8221;<\/em><\/strong> inside them.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong style=\"font-size: revert;\"><br><br><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mobile app offers same features as app for PC.
